Halloween Festival

Rushmoor Arena, Aldershot
Sat 31 Oct 2026

Tickets

It starts with a whisper. A forest. A date. The location stays secret until the day before, shared only with those who are meant to find it.

As the sun disappears, the woods begin to shift. Sound moves through the trees. Time softens. You’re moving, watching, feeling.

You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

Dress like you mean it. Tickets are few. When the last one slips away, the woods go quiet, and we return to the suburbs we thought we knew...

FAQs

Is it a Halloween event?

It’s a Halloween weekend gathering, but not your typical “spooky” party. Think transformation, ritual, and deep house in the woods.

What's the music policy?

Our DJs will predominantly be playing House, across it's many forms.

Will it be muddy?

Unlikely. Even if it rains, the sheltered areas and solid flooring keep the main experience dry.

Can I come in costume?

Yes — in fact, it’s encouraged. Costumes aren’t a gimmick here, they’re part of the ritual. Dress like you’re stepping into another world.

Will the event be under cover?

Yes. Twisted Roots runs across both open-air and covered spaces, but the main areas are all under cover. If the weather turns, you’ll still be right in the heart of it.

Will there be floor covering?

Most of the main event space is solid ground or concrete, so you won’t be sinking into mud. There may be some natural pathways between spaces, but the core dance areas are clean and firm underfoot.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just yourself, your outfit, and whatever you need to enjoy the night comfortably. Leave big bags at home.

Is the location really secret?

Yes. The exact coordinates will be sent to ticket holders only, a few days before the event.

How do I pay at the bar?

The bars and food stalls are fully cashless. Use card or phone. Contactless, chip & pin, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

Save your coins for the eyes of the dead. They will not be taken here.

Can I bring my kids?

No — this is an adults-only event (18+).

Shep

DJ Shep’s love affair with music began when he saw the Buffalo Gals video on Top Of The Pops, seeing B Boying and, crucially, a record being rocked back and forth on the decks for the first time. So began an obsession with the interface between a tiny needle and some black plastic. In the intervening 40 years he has rocked the decks at thousands of jams, including an Official Good Times Sound System New Years Eve party and numerous festivals. He can also be found broadcasting to the world on SS Radio and to the slightly smaller demographic of Surrey and North East Hampshire on Kane FM.
